Divi makes it easy to add links, but depending on what you’re editing, the steps are slightly different. Below are the three main ways you’ll add links: Text Editor, Buttons, and Modules.
1. Adding a Link in the Text Editor
The text editor is used for paragraphs, headings, and inline text.
Open the Divi Builder on your page or post.
Click the gear icon ⚙️ on the Text Module you want to edit.
In the Content tab, highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
Click the link icon ? in the toolbar (above the text).
Enter your URL (e.g.,
https://yourwebsite.com/contact
).Choose if you want the link to open in a new tab (recommended for external sites).
Click Apply (✔️) and then Save the module.
✅ Now your text is clickable.
2. Adding a Link to a Button
Buttons are built-in Divi modules designed to link somewhere.
Add or edit a Button Module.
In the Content tab, find the Link field.
Paste the URL you want the button to go to.
Example:
https://yourwebsite.com/book-now
(Optional) Toggle “Open in New Tab” if it’s an external link.
Save and exit the module.
✅ Now your button will take visitors to that page.
3. Adding a Link to Other Modules
Many Divi modules (like images, blurbs, call to action, sliders, etc.) have a built-in Link option.
Open the module’s settings (gear icon ⚙️).
In the Content tab, scroll to Link.
For images, you’ll see Image Link URL.
For blurbs, you’ll see Title Link URL and Image Link URL.
For Call-to-Action, you’ll see Button Link URL.
Paste in the URL you want to use.
Choose if it should open in a new tab.
Save your changes.
✅ Now the entire element (image, blurb, or call to action) will be clickable.
